The feast day of the holy and glorious prophet Elijah and of The Holy and Venerable Martyrs of the Sacred Monastery of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple (Prechista), Evnuvios, Paisios and Averikios, this year was solemnly celebrated in the monastery of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple in Kichevo. The jubilation commenced on August 1st 2014 AD, with the celebration of the Office of Great Vespers by His Eminence, Metropolitan of Debar and Kichevo k. Timothy, in concelebration of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Nectarios, the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Stevcho Toshevski, the Reverend Presbyters Nicholas Christoski, Goran Stavreski, Vlado Nedeski and Alexander Mateski, the Protodeacon Nikolche Gjurgjinoski and the Deacon Sasho Celeski. Following the Vespers and the blessings of the artoklasia loaves, the Service of the Akathist Hymn dedicated to the Holy and Venerable Martyrs of the Prechista Monastery was served for the first time in the history of the pleroma of the Holy Orthodox Church.
Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was celebrated the following morning by His Grace, the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia k.k. Stephen, in concelebration of the Diocesan Hierarch – His Eminence, Metropolitan of Debar and Kichevo, k. Timothy, His Eminence, Metropolitan of Kumanovo and Osogovo k. Dr. Joseph, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Nectarios, the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Cross-bearer Spase Stefanovski, the Very Reverend Protosyngellos Clement (Church of Romania), the Reverend Hegumen Agathon, the Reverend Hieromonks Gregory and Efrosinios, the Reverend Presbyters Nicholas Christoski, Goran Stavreski and Vlado Nedeski, the Protodeacons Anthony Duyovski and Nikolche Gjurgjinoski and the Deacon Sasho Celeski. Following the Liturgy, the Service of supplication (moleben) in honor of The Holy and Venerable Martyrs of the Prechista Monastery was served. With the blessings of the Archbishop k.k. Stephen, Presbyter Nicholas Christoski read the Synodal Encyclical on Iliden.
On this solemn day, the new church bell that weighs one thousand eight hundred and fifty kilograms and is casted in Russia was consecrated. Inscribed on the bell are four adornments: the Annunciation of the Theotokos (Parish Patronal Feast Day), Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Ss. Clement and Naum and Ss. Venerable Martyrs of the Prechista Monastery.
Following the consecration, His Grace, k.k. Stephen addressed the worshipers with his primatial homily.
